What It Is

Injectable Fat-Dissolving Treatment uses Kybella®, an injectable solution commonly used in aesthetic practices as part of treatment plans aimed at contouring and refining the appearance of certain areas with localized fat. Kybella® contains a synthetic form of deoxycholic acid, a molecule naturally found in the body that helps break down and absorb dietary fat. It is often used to address areas such as fullness beneath the chin and other small pockets of stubborn fat. Each treatment plan is customized during a consultation to determine if this option is appropriate for your aesthetic goals.

How It Works

Kybella® works by targeting and breaking down fat cells in the treated area. Once the fat cells are disrupted, the body gradually processes and clears them through its natural metabolic pathways. Over time, this can lead to a more contoured and refined appearance in the treated area. Multiple treatment sessions may be recommended depending on the amount of fat and the desired outcome. Results vary by individual.

What to Expect

Kybella® treatments are performed in-office and typically take about 15–30 minutes. A series of small injections are placed into the targeted area. Some swelling, tenderness, or redness may occur following treatment and usually improves over several days to a couple of weeks as the area heals. Most clients resume normal activities shortly after treatment, though temporary swelling in the treated area is expected as part of the process. Your provider will review what to expect and provide aftercare instructions.
